Ingredients
1 lb. penne pasta
1 lb. lean ground beef
½ yellow onion, diced
1 (24-oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 cup milk
8-oz. Neufchatel cream cheese, cubed
2 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions
Preheat oven to 350° F. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside. Meanwhile, cook ground beef and onion in a large skillet until beef is browned through. Add spaghetti sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
Combine milk and cream cheese in small saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until melted together. Add cheese mixture to cooked pasta and stir to combine. Spread pasta in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Top with meat sauce, and sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered for 20-30 minutes until cheese is melted.
