Hey Lake Norman!
I made a quick video to share a few tips to prepare your home before the storm hits. Hopefully this storm passes quickly and doesn't leave much damage.
1. If you own a boat try to get it out of the water. If not, you can loosen the straps and add some bumpers to avoid damage.
2. Remove everything off your dock or patio. Anything the wind can pick up may damage your home or boat.
3. Make sure your gutters and downspouts are pointed away from the house. This will help keep water out of your basement and/or crawlspaces.
